Privacy Policy

Bright Center is a mobile and web application operated by Bright Automations (“Bright Automations,” “we,” “us”). It gives a business owner a single place to receive and respond to customer calls, texts, and inquiries, manage their customers and pipeline, and request reviews. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. It applies to the Bright Center app and related Bright Automations services.

Information we collect

Account information. When a business owner is set up with a Console, we store their name, business name, email address, phone number, and login credentials.

Customer communications. The app routes calls and text messages between a business and its customers through a dedicated business phone number. We process the phone numbers, names, message content, and call metadata involved so the business owner can view and reply to them. This information is handled on behalf of the business owner, for the operation of their account.

Device & usage information. To deliver push notifications we store a device push token for each device that opts in. We also keep basic technical logs (such as timestamps and delivery status) needed to operate and secure the service.

We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

How we use information

• To provide the service — receive, display, and send messages, manage customers, and send review requests.
• To send notifications you’ve enabled (for example, “new reply from a customer”).
• To secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Push notifications

If you enable notifications, we register a device token with Apple Push Notification service to alert you about new customer activity. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, which stops these alerts.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With service providers who help us operate the service (for example, telecommunications providers that deliver SMS and calls, and cloud hosting), under agreements that limit their use of the information to providing those services.
• With the business owner whose account the communications belong to (a customer who contacts a business is communicating with that business through our tools).
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the public.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as an account is active and as needed to provide the service, then for a reasonable period to meet legal, security, and operational requirements, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.

Your choices

You can disable notifications in your device settings. Business owners can request access to, correction of, or deletion of their account information by contacting us. Customers who wish to stop receiving texts can reply STOP to opt out at any time.

Children

The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
